Maybe that is what happening in zaki's creative head.

Updates on Zaki. For weeks I stopped teaching or asking zaki to do his school work because its just so difficult making him sit down and do his work....he got distracted with the kura kura...went into the kitchen to get a glass of water and never turn up at the table again. So I end up scolding him.I dont like to be angry at him and he felt sad too saying that mommy marah zaki aje. So told hubby that I will only continue when I know how to handle him. Therefore since he is easily distracted by everything around him and getting info from the internet on how to handle kids like him I decided to move our study area from the dining table to the study room.Moved his table to the middle of the room so that I can sit in front of him.Put all the toys away. He has 2 books on the table...its a 365 days fun activies book and a puzzle books.His magic pen and few others. He arranged every thing very very neatly.I think he is the kind who cannot see things not arrange properly...for eg I bought UNO cards...we played together and after that he started to arrange the cards by colour...which he should not be doing since we want the cards to be all mix up...but he like to arrange it by colours. So first day we did science and it was a success.He did quite a lot of exercises. Last night he did his math homework.I did not sit with him but I am nearby.He did one question on a rough paper the he colour ever one of the numbers with different kind of colour from the magic pen.He did that for every question.Its nice but its too time consuming...at the end he did not finish the work because he and nabila got distracted with the activity book and the puzzle book on his table.That 's it...the activity book and the puzzle book cannot be on his table any more. So for tonight experiment....his table should be clear of everything...no books and no magic pen etc etc...just the homework and the stationeries. The aim is for him to sit still long enough to finish his task and mommy kena banyak bersabar and no one end up sleeping feeling very sad.

About distraction Aqil once 16 yrs old once told me he cannot attend tuition at people's house because he will see for eg a lady maybe the mother and start thinking whether the mother is garang or not and blah blah.....so he be in his world and tuition entah ke mana dah.
